The Aleppo Thermal Power Station & Workers` Housing  

The construction of a 1000 MW power station in the outskirts of Aleppo, with the collaboration of Nader & Khaldoun Atassi.

Client: Public Establishment for Generation & Transmission of Electric Energy (P.E.E.G.T).

Main Contractor: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

P&LY Works:

• All civil and structural works including, but not limited to, the following:

  • 500 000 cubic meters of earth moving.

  • 120 000 cubic meters of concrete.

  • 5 conical chimneys, 125 meters high executed by slip forming.

• All finishing works.

• The erection of steel structure of about 7000 tons of steel structures.

• The supply and installation of 25000 square meters of double skinned cladding and roofing.

• The erection of three of the five boilers:

  • Mechanical, electrical, and instrumental.

• The turnkey execution (design, civil, finishing, electrical, mechanical and sanitary) of the workers` housing including 300 apartments and 11 villas with a total floor area of 30000 square meters along with its facilities and recreation areas.
